Wynne Construction has been awarded the contract to build the new £5.5m respite centre, complex care day resource unit, a cafe, shop and support facilities at Bron y Nant on Dinerth Road in Colwyn Bay

The Disability Respite Facility will provide 5 fully furnished apartments, communal space and support staff accommodation for those with disability support needs. In addition, the Complex Care day unit will provide a daily respite service for those with complex needs. The cafe and shop will provide additional work opportunities for people with Disabilities.

Work started on site in May 2021 and is due for completion by Summer 2022
