The Royal International Pavilion is an iconic building in Wales with a reputation worldwide for hosting music and festivals. The Pavilion is a year-round events, festival and conference venue, as well as being home of the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod.
The refurbishment involved the replacement of the fabric roof covering the main events area (auditorium) and steelwork refurbishment to the main lattice arch supporting the fabric roof. Internal alterations and improvements including associated specialist stage lighting, mechanical and electrical installations and constructing a new car park entrance and upgrading of car parking areas.
The work was completed in time for the 2010 Royal International Musical Eisteddfod in July 2010.
