Wynne Construction has been awarded the contract to build the new extension and redevelopment of St Kentigern Hospice in St Asaph.
The development involves an enlargement and improvement of the hospice’s day therapy and inpatient facilities, which will increase the bed provision from 8 to 12 increasing the number of people the hospice can support.
The 930 sq ft expansion will also include a cafe, offering a relaxing area for patients and visitors, as well as being open to the public, including for community groups to meet. It will also provide the charity with a sustainable income to assist with funding.
