Wynne Construction named as one of the UK’s most inspirational companies

Did you know that Wynne Construction was named by London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as one of its 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain?

The report is an annual celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK. There were just six other companies named in Wynne’s turnover category (£40m-£50m) and it was one of just two businesses in the Welsh construction sector.

To qualify, firms had to demonstrate positive revenue growth in the previous three years as well as outperform their competitors. And Chris Wynne, managing director, believes the LSEG accomplishment further cements the company’s position as a leader in its field. He said: “It’s a remarkable achievement and further illustrates the success we have achieved off the back of delivering a varied portfolio of schemes for a number of high-profile clients.

“While our number one goal is to ensure a project is delivered on time, on budget and safely, receiving recognition such as this reaffirms our belief that we are one of the leading UK construction firms. We look forward to reviewing the next edition to see if we have maintained our place on this prestigious list.”

The sixth edition of 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain, published in summer 2019, also examined in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looked at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the UK economy.
