Wynne Construction has been appointed by Coleg Llandrillo Cymru to build a new £6m teaching block at the Glynllifon campus of Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor.
The project involving the construction of a two-storey teaching block and ancillary works is designed to meet BREEAM Excellent standards and is sited adjacent to a special area of conservation and one of the largest roosts for Lesser Horseshoe Bats in Europe.
Work has already started on site and is due for completion by the end of August 2011. This new build is the second phase of the Glynllifon campus development by Coleg Llandrillo who recently merged with Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor. The whole development known as the Pentref Addysg @ Glynllifon (PA@G) Learning Village is being funded by the Welsh Assembly Government.

The project will also enable us to offer employment to a number of skilled workers in the area, as well as affording valuable opportunities in the future."
