Managing Director Chris Wynne, has spoken to a leading Welsh business magazine as part of its coverage of National Apprenticeship Week.
Chris is featured in the most recent edition of Wales Business Insider alongside other business leaders from around the country, sharing his thoughts on the Wynne Futures Foundation and how the foundation facilitates apprenticeships, selects candidates and how courses are structured.
Chris also talked about how Wynne Futures creates opportunities for a wider range of young people by working in partnerships with schools, colleges and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), as well as how the pandemic has affected everything.
Wynne Futures aims to equip young people with the confidence they need to put themselves forward for apprenticeships.
Chris told Wales Business Insider: “Regular contact between ourselves, CITB, the college tutors, our own company mentors and the apprentices themselves play an essential part in ensuring successful apprenticeship outcomes. We ensure that we are fully aware throughout the apprenticeship programme as to how the apprentice is performing. Good outcomes for apprenticeships require the apprentice, the employer, the college and any other organisation involved to communicate frequently.”
