Company History

1936

Charles Wynne started C Wynne Builder & Contractor and the first project wa a small residential development of 30 houses in Rhuddlan for Rhuddlan Rural District Council aimed at providing affordable housing to the local community.

1959

C Wynne & Sons Ltd was officially incorporated. The incorporation provided a solid foundation for further growth, led by Maldwyn Wynne.

1970s

The 1970s and 1980s witnessed our company's rapid expansion working for local Councils and clients across the North Wales region. Pictured are the team building the new Coleg Llandrillo in Llandrillo-yn-Rhos (now Grwp Llandrillo Menai)

2000s

Chris Wynne joined the company in 1984, becoming managing director in 2003. The 21st century saw C Wynne & Sons Ltd drive change with a focus on technologies, innovation and delivering best practice.

2005

Wynne Construction moved to purpose built new offices in Bodelwyddan.

2010s

David Wynne and Richard Wynne joined the company in 2013 and 2016 respectively.

2018

Wynne Construction won two National Constructing Excellence awards - SME of the Year and Sustainability for Ysgol Rhyd Y Llan with Anglesey County Council

2020s

Wynne Construction extended our operations into South and Mid Wales through successfully joining the South West Wales Regional Contracting Framework (SSWRCF) and South East & Mid Wales Collaborative Construction Framework (SEWSCAP3).
