Wynne Construcution is celebrating after securing places on two multi-million pound Welsh industry frameworks.
We have been selected for the North Wales Construction Partnership (NWCP), for projects £2m – £10m in value, and the South-East and mid-Wales Collaborative Construction Framework (SEWSCAP3) for projects valued between £10m – £25m.
The anticipated value of the NWCP is up to £500 million over four years and will include new school buildings and public-sector projects led by all six North Wales local authorities.
The South-East and mid-Wales framework, which also runs for four years, will be used by more than 20 Welsh local authorities, councils, and public bodies for schools and public building works.
The framework wins come as the company adds the finishing touches to new primary school buildings for Ysgol Carreg Emlyn (Denbighshire) and Ysgol Santes Dwynwen (Anglesey), and progresses with the development of Coleg Cambria’s new Yale site redevelopment.
Chris Wynne, managing director of Wynne Construction said: “We are delighted to have secured a place on both of these Welsh frameworks, which is a testament to the team’s dedication and commitment and it follows on from our impeccable track record on schools, colleges and other public-sector projects. We are looking forward to delivering more innovative and modern facilities for the communities in Wales.
“As a company, we continuously invest in both our staff and technology, and this has paid dividends through achievements such as this which cements our reputation as experts in our field and leaders in construction across the region.”
It is the only indigenous Welsh contractor to have full building information modelling (BIM) Level 2 certification. In November 2018, the firm was named SME (up to 250 employees) of the year at the UK-wide Constructing Excellence awards.
