Wynne Construction has been appointed by housing association, Adra Tai Cyf to build 30 properties off Pen Y Ffridd Road in Bangor, Gwynedd.

The housing development includes 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms houses with external landscaping and parking. The houses are timber frame, with the structure built off-site to increase safety, provide a consistent quality, reduce vehicle movement to and from site, and decrease noise for the local community. They are also designed to be more energy efficient, with solar panels and air source heat pumps further strengthening the climate credentials of the development. In addition, 12 of the units, which will be affordable houses, will be completely off fossil fuels such as mains gas and oil.

Construction started on site in May 2023 and was work on site was completed in September 2024.
