Wynne Construction has been appointed by Ceredigion County Council to design and build the new Aeron Valley primary school, situated in Felinfach. This new area school will provide first class, modern facilities and equipment for primary age children who currently attend Ciliau Parc, Felin-fach and Dihewyd schools.
The building will be suitable for 210 pupils, with additional capacity for ALN, Welsh Language and pre-school provision, as well as a 3G sports pitch with flood lights and has been designed to meet BREEAM Excellent Standards. It will also be a Net Zero Carbon building, benefitting from air source heat pumps and solar panels.
The project started in June 2023 and work was completed in December 2024.
