During the construction phase, the proactive approach adopted by Alison and the Wynne Construction team was demonstrated through the delivery of community benefit KPIs, and the interaction with both of the schools, residents and community of Ruthin.
Community benefits achieved included 72% of the project spend within 30 miles of the site and 17% of this with SMEs based in Denbighshire county, 10 apprentices were employed across a number of trades, 1158 pupil interactions gained through site visits and regular newsletters delivered to nearby residents.
In addition, key milestones of the project were celebrated with Turf Cutting and Beam Signing ceremonies
