Wynne Construction was appointed by Wrexham County Borough Council to refurbish and transform the People's Market into a joint arts and market centre.
The £4.5m project involved the refurbishment of the former People's Market to include two art galleries; one which is designed to national standards for the display of exhibitions plus a number of other performance spaces. Features within Ty Pawb include a Shepherd's Hut (workshop space), new furniture/seating, and signage within the building.
A well-established gallery in the town, Oriel Wrecsam, has also relocated from the Wrexham Library to a new home inside Ty Pawb. The revamped centre also boasts an educational area, food court and market stalls.
The project started in January 2017 and was completed in March 2018.

Testimonial
Wynne Construction was appointed to deliver our Ty Pawb Arts Hub and market/food hall scheme in the centre of Wrexham.
A difficult project from the outset, the scheme was always going to be influenced by external considerations including The Arts Council for Wales. Wynne’s team embraced the challenge and ran with it, ensuring the sponsor’s visions were achieved and their teamwork and collaborative approach can only be applauded.
The finished facility is a testament to their efforts and understanding.
