Ysgol Robert Owen, Newtown

Wynne Construction was appointed by Powys County Council to design and build the additional learning needs (ALN) school, Ysgol Robert Owen, in Newtown.

The new school delivers state-of-the-art facilities with additional features including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory and physiotherapy rooms, gardens, and a community cafe. Demolition of the existing school buildings made way for a large playing field and Multi-Use Games Area, in addition to car parking and external landscaping areas.

Work on site began in April 2024 and the project was completed in March 2025.
